Bringing Families Together with Supportive Hands
People with special needs and disabilities require an extra level of understanding, care, patience and love. Our Care, Inc. staff enjoys working with people of all ages who may have developmental, emotional or physical needs. From children to adults, our staff is highly trained and sensitive to every individual’s feelings, as well as the needs of their families. We truly want your family to feel cared for and we want to help in any way we can.
For families who have a loved one with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, Down syndrome, mild or severe mental disabilities or anyone who requires use of a wheelchair, it can be challenging to get around. Many people rely on full time care, but we know that their families need to work or do normal activities, too. Respite care is a service we offer, but we also can attend to your loved one anytime for just a few hours, days, weeks, years or however long you need us. Some of our Care Attendants become part of our patient’s families and love them just as much as if they were our own.
Day-to-day living becomes a whole lot more enjoyable when someone with special needs gets the right treatment, care and attention they deserve. We can handle errands, companionship, light housekeeping and cooking or other tasks for your family member with developmental disabilities. And we’re glad to do it.
We know it can be a big decision to bring in more support from the outside. If your child or loved one needs…
- Special attention that you are having trouble giving
- Care around the clock by a family member or adult
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments, help with housekeeping, errands or companionship
- Personal hygiene assistance
- Someone to talk to and interact with
- Extra care in case of emergencies
… We are there for all of these and more, depending on your unique situation.
