Serving People with Special Needs in Louisiana
Our Care Attendants are compassionate, helpful and committed to serving families who have a member with special needs. Special needs can range from short term to long term care, such as a new mother who needs CARE assistance while recovering from the hospital, to a family with an elderly person suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia whose needs are long term. There are many situations in between, such as children with special needs, respite care services, or caring for people who have suffered from an accident and need help through the rehabilitation process.
For all of these Louisiana special needs services and many more, CARE, Inc. has the staff who are knowledgeable, trained and specialists in handling a variety of special needs. We go through frequent training to ensure the most modern methods of care and respond to everyone’s needs individually.
We take better care of people with special needs than any other Louisiana care provider because we have the manpower and experience to dedicate to families with special needs members. Therefore, we are able to absorb budget cuts and increased regulations better than other providers, since our primary focus is in-home care.
Some of the special needs we can assist with include:
- Workman’s compensation cases
- Children with a variety of disabilities – physical, mental and emotional
- Elderly patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s or illnesses
- New mothers
- Accident victims who need in-home assistance while recovering
- Handicapped clients with physical limitations
- Adults with down syndrome
- Respite care for caregivers who need a break
- Other special circumstances
Whether people are born with physical limitations or have incurred special needs due to an accident, it can be frustrating to them just to manage normal daily tasks. It can also be burdensome to their loved ones to maintain care, so that is when we are called upon to help. We don’t fill your loved ones shoes, we walk in them.
Let our excellent Care Attendants assist with your special needs.
